Who we are
GiftPraise Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company number 17247995, registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA) is the data controller for the information you provide when using our service. Contact us at hello@giftpraise.com.
What we collect
- Account information - your name and email address.
- Recipient details - the name, email address and, where you provide one, the mobile number of each person you send to. We use these only to deliver that GiftPraise and to tell you when it has been opened.
- Gift content - written messages, voice notes and video messages you choose to record or upload.
- Payment metadata - transaction amounts, dates and status. We do not store full card details; these are handled by our PCI DSS-compliant payment provider.
- Technical data - basic logs, device and browser information needed to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
- To deliver the GiftPraise to the intended recipient by email and SMS.
- To process payments and to order the digital gift cards you choose.
- To provide customer support.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
Sharing
We share data only with the providers we need to run the service, and only the minimum necessary: our payment processor, our email and SMS delivery providers, our gift card supplier and our hosting provider. We never sell your data.
Retention
We keep gift content for as long as the GiftPraise is active, plus a short period afterwards in case of disputes. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@giftpraise.com.
